By: suzannejdean. on 11 Oct 11, 21:27:37 No worries LOL--if you don't use a marker it will last up to 18 mos according to Copic--but I have had markers that came in sets that I haven't touched in? 3 years and they work as good as new because that center barrel is air tight. To tell if you need more ink--if the tip goes white, if it drags or screeches across the paper or just doesn't blend as easily as it did the day before. If its well inked it should glide across your paper lightly & easily

The barrel of the marker is airtight so you are not drying out any ink from the inside. I do it all the time and I only fill my markers up every 3-4 months and you know I color a lot LOL! By: suzannejdean. on 10 Mar 12, 20:09:46 As I colored with the Copics many eons/years ago I found that coloring dark to light works best because lighter colors have more colorless blender in them, so when you take a light color over or towards a? dark color you move it, change it and muddy it. Colorless blender is like Copic bleach and it can create blending issues for you...this is why I go dark to light. I also can always go back in & add more dark, but harder to take away so I start with a little dark and keep adding.

No they won't if ... By: suzannejdean. on 02 Mar 12, 05:47:39 No they won't if its under 8-10 mins...most things you are coloring don't take more than 10 minutes if you are coloring in sections, it makes? it faster to color if you keep caps off for that time. Alcohol markers are made to mix colors, touch tip to tip so it doesn't dirty them...just scratch excess color off on scrap paper to clean! Thx!

Hi--it is a rubber ... By: suzannejdean. on 27 Feb 11, 03:20:23 Hi--it is a rubber stamp from La La Land Crafts. When using printers for digi images, always print in DRAFT mode. You have to see if your ink is compatible with Copics so you must test it, if it does smear try heat setting it or letting it sit for 24 hours. ? If you have a laser printer than you never need to worry, toner ink will NOT ever smear with copics.

When it's really dry it flattens down and isn't nearly as pretty.? Also, their tips are so very tiny, I have problems with a lot of the bottles getting clogged. One I even had to toss because I never could get it to work the way it should. I'm trying these new ones for sure. thanks Suzanne
