the material is vinyl, but I meant can you design your own stencil with its software? Because most of the cutters do not cut custom designs, I used to cut the stencil by hand which is very diffecult and time consuming. the laser cutters which are widely used to produse henna stencil commercially ,are burning the sides and? when you use them , henna will bleed. When I found this machine I thought this will take my business to the next level, but till now I am not sure if it is able to do the job.

I'm not familiar with the material you'd use for a henna stencil, but the machine cuts just about anything from a piece? of computer paper to cardstock. You'll need the heavy duty blade for the cardstock though.

I'm not? sure. I don't have any experience in that area, but my guess is that you could use the negative space as a stencil when you cut the vinyl. I'm not sure what materials you use for your stencils.

i just ordered this, i am so beyond excited to begin using it. i know in the end it will pay for its self because i will never have to buy another back of scrapbook letters or shapes EVER again. i have been looking at cutters like? these for along time(ones with cartrages) but told my self their worthless because im not the kind of person to use the same die cuts over and over again. this is going to be perfect. hoping to cut vinyl stickers too! ;0 cant wait.

@TeamKilday The Heavy Materials Mat (green) is super sticky when you first start using it. Stick it to your t-shirt first to? take alot of the tack away and then it won't shred your paper. It will still be very tacky and might curl your paper the first few times you use it. DO not wash the mat it will lift things off that you don't want lifted off. You can press a slightly damp washcloth to the paper on the mat and that will moisten it enough that you should be able to get it off the mat.

I have the Silhouette SD. Although I bought it from someone on EBAY, it was brand new in it's box with all the sticktape on the sides to hold all the pieces in place and all the blade lids were still? in an unopened plastic bag so I know the machine was brand new. Anyway, not sure about why I got two different mats, but yeah, I'm temped not to wash the sticky one. I can still use it, I was just annoyed that I felt I'd ruined it on day one. I can always buy another mat online.

I completely agree with you, Metallica has about 4 choice songs out of their 9 albums that are actually pretty good. That is a fucking shit record if you ask me. Metallica was a great band in the beginning, but slowly turned to shit. Although that's true that doesn't mean the band was just plain bad. Their instrumental pieces were emotional and some of their songs were quite melodic filled with interludes and the great riffs of course. Opeth however is genius, not one bad album in my honest opinion and they are always challenging? themselves to make something different, but a the same time awesome. Favorite band right now could't be what I am without them

I doubt it but why would you need to? Silhouette comes with it's own free software (Silhouette Studio) that has most of the same features.? Make-the-Cut was created to "jail break" the cricut from cartridges... Silhouettes aren't as restrictive. You aren't restricted to silhouette provided/ purchased files in Silhouette Studio. It doesn't use cartridges and you can cut any font from your computer without using third party software.

Thanks for the info. about the TV show. I'm going to see if I can find clippings of it some where now. I figured that that had to have been a harmless,non dirty gesture because they wouldn't have allowed anything vulgar on television in those days, not to mention that? Peter Noone was famous for an innocent, boyish image, right? But I still didn't know what to make of the "better left unanswered" response. I LOVE the 60's classics. Best wishes to you, also.

Hello. Yes, pre-Hermits, young teen Peter Noone was in "Coronation Street" an English TV drama, set near Manchester, which has been on the air for 50? years. Davy Jones also played a stint in the series at age 11. I don't know why someone left a "better left unanswered" remark. Maybe there's so much blatant vulgarity on TV & in movies these days, some folks can't imagine a harmless, clean gesture? Anyway, I hope you enjoy 60's classics as much as we (& our children!) do. Yes, I did know a little something about that. Wasn't he on some television series while he was a little kid or something? Didn't mean to be sarcastic and doubtful, but somebody else posted the response of "some questions are better left unanswered" when I asked that question.? I figured that was supposed to mean that that was some kind of a dirty gesture, and that I was very naive for not knowing it. But then I also knew that nothing dirty would've been allowed on television in 1965.

Good morning. Yes, I am serious. It's not used much at all anymore, but a few decades ago, it was a non-verbal way of expressing acknowledgement of some kind of mistake, although an innocent, non-destructive one. It follows a key line ". . . said, to my shock, you're on the wrong block" which seems to qualify as an innocent, non-destructive mistake. Did you know that Peter Noone was an actor before he became a pop singer so had been trained to add gestures to spoken? (or sung) words? Peace.

I heard Peter Noone on a "Beatles lunch break Radio" interview years ago confirm that fact. He stressed that it was THAT Jimmy Page who played on the this record. Jimmy did alot of? session work back in the day. The Hermits could all play well, but it was common practice (especially in the days when 45s were King)for record labels to hire session musicians to get the job done faster. Time=$.

i can't help thinking that the depth of emotion and pain REALLY does not get conveyed at all in herman's hermits' version of this song. The Rays' version and Frankie Lymon's had SO much 'feel' in it! Am I the only one who finds the Herman's Hermits' version really disappointing?? ?

Too bad it's a recording that they're lip-syncing to. It would have been nice? to hear them play it for real. But they were promoting the record. And I'll bet it was hard enough to get it right in the studio since that solo is really fast and would trip up even the best player. Not to mention the key change after the solo.
