this is a great video. i am a miniature diorama builder and i am interested in trying out MOD to make water? effects, which MOD do you recommend that can give me that nice glossy finish?

Do you use that paintbrush just for modge podge? If so you really don't need to wash it out after every use just put it in a ziplock bag that is tightly sealed and it won't harden...I learned that from my brother who is a painter... They would often do that with the rollers when at the? end of the day they weren't finished painting a room...

I bought a hard cover book and want to decorate it my own style. I? don't know how to do the rounded off part, the binded part, can someone here tell me?

hey! so I did end up baking MP and just as you said, it bubbled. I mixed in some food coloring and made it as the 'jam' filling for a polymer clay pie miniature. I would say its best not to put too much MP because it ended up overflowing (I didn't know it would bubble lol), so I quickly took it out of the oven, let it cooled for 2 minutes, and continued baking until finish time. It turned out alright! I would say just keep an eye on it while it bakes for safety reasons? : )

Unfortunately I? don't think there is. You can go to the store and check out the different products offered by MP. It is a several step process, similar to painting your nails. There is a base and top coat. I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say you added Mod Podge to some outlets... if you just add MP directly to the surface of an outlet, I would imagine it would adhere better if you sanded the outlet first, dulling the finish...

I hope you used PPA for that project. Sorry this response? is coming so late, I've lost access to this account- The MP does have an odor with it. I believe it's a bit strong regardless of age. Though,I believe it goes away after a short time. However, you would need to seal the MP with a top coat, or something else to make it not sticky.

Thanks! At the time I think she was? three?
By: canyoupixelthis. on 04 Apr 12, 17:24:42
I would say it's not smart to bake MP. If you take? a heat gun to it, and apply heat you'll see it will bubble. So, I wouldn't bake it. But, if you did... let me know how it worked out!

I'm sure the paper will wrinkle.? They say if you wet the paper first, and then apply the MP- that should help lessen the wrinkles.

it's ok, I call it "modge podge" too. I've used it all my life (and I'm 43) and have always called it that. I think my grandmother? called it that too and she used it since it came out. I'm just glad I'm not the only one that calls it that. :)
