Here's a little mini recipe book I made for niece's birthday. I first saw this technique on the link below. Super easy and really fun! These would cute to stick inside a pocket in a larger mini album. I love to put minis in minis! Beautiful scrapbook mini album with a lot of pockets and tags. Hand-made flowers, Prima Pearls, vintage jewelry, buttons, ribbons and fibers are used throughout. Chipboard cover and back and trimmed envelopes make up the multi-pocketed pages inside. Finished size 6" x 6".

Hello there. For these small flowers I punched out 8 pieces and then layered them. Secured the middle with a brad. Pinched up together one layer at a time.? Then, pressed down on the top with my thumb to create the petels. Once done, I applied water color paint. Blessings, Valerie

Grunge"board" is a ...

Grunge"board" is a Tim Holtz product - it's compressed paper, basically a thick (like chipboard) material that is flexible. So Grunge"paper" is a thinner? version of that, it almost has a leather-type feel to it, only a bit sturdier. Hope that describes it for you! :-)

This is a super simple pocket mini album uses one sheet of 12?x12? double-sided patterned paper as a base. It's decorated with three 3.5?x3.5? squares of coordinating cardstock, three 3.25?x3.25? squares of coordinating patterned paper, three 3.25?x5.5? tags and a length of ribbon.

It was SO fun to get the kids doing the stuff i love! Not to mention, it's such a great way to make some headway thru all my paper. You know when you buy those pads of 24 K&Co. and use 6 sheets....you end up with quite the collection! So it's a win win....they get to play with paper and? I get to make room for the next line I fall for!

My big tape runner is the 3M Scotch ATG 700. The gun is normally a bright yellow plastic, but I changed the color of mine with some Krylon Fusion Paint. I use the 3M Scotch 908 Gold refills in the? gun. You can find the gun, refills and more at an online company called Framing Supplies. YouTube doesn't allow links in the comments section, but if you just google "Framing Supplies" they should be the first link that comes up.

Scrappinology: You're right! If you want to allow a half inch for your binding, then you would have a full 5" for the inside of your pocket. On the 5x7 album I was showing, I didn't mind making my tag be a 6 1/2 x 4 1/2? and that allotted for the binding, and still made a perfect frame for a 4x6 picture. Thanks for watching! And I'll try to do a video of that finished album! :-)

Thanks for sharing this and be sure and show us your finished mini. I am? wondering though, isn't it necessary to cut the width a bit bigger to end up with a 5 x 5 pocket? For example if you have a 5 x 5 pocket and then you do the binding as you did in your unfinished mini, your useable space (or pocket)would be less than 5", is that correct? Sorry I am a bit confused. *gina*

I'm working my way through your tutorials and wanted to say thanks. I have experimented with all kinds of mediums looking for ways to recycle household waste and wanted to? share with you. I used baking parchment (wax paper) and old newspapers to make this multi pocket and they turned out great. Really quite sturdy. Very pleased. Keep up the good work. x

Yes, the paper is square, but probably not critical to be honest. One of my other videos shows how I stamped on the white side of the paper to make it double sided! And yes, whe you are taping up the folds to make the pockets? and sticking the two "sides" together, place your ribbon in there and it should hold it all in place. @angelfly770 you can use the regular brown lunch bags or you can use the better quality ones called Celebrate it. You can find them @ Michaels or? most craft stores. I like the Celebrate it ones because of the different sizes and colors, hope this helps.
