I agree that the mid to later half sucked and is the reason that guitar soloing got a bad name, cause e solos lacked and soul. i dont like slip knot. I checked? out Artic Monkeys, its not bad, its ok for post punk. I could enjoy them as one of the bands at a festival for sure. The singer is a littlke annoying, its been done before all this post punk. And i get tired of it quickly, because it like fast surf without any cool notes and very little melody. All these bands get super boring real quick....intro, verse, chorus verse,? chorus, outro no soloing, just tinkering and scratching with delay, like the 2 hipsters with delay boxes in the subway.
