I was reading the comments and i read people say they have to get skinny for this. This women is one of the skinnier belly dancers but most weigh between 140-165. Belly dancing? was and art for women with curves, Im at the weight of 145 and i belly dance and i seem to tiny for it. Look up real belly dancers and you'll see the dance get more beautiful with more weight added.

We don't need wings. Would it be cool to have them, hell yeah XD But biologically, at the moment, they are not necessary. The easiest way I know to get taller is stretching. I've been doing that? in my drama class for warm ups over this past month, but I noticed I was 2 inches taller than when I had started. Some people in that class also noticed that they had gotten taller. Not by much but hey, it's a start :) But you are right about the boobs. Genetic and hormones dominate that :(

And it's not my friends that are influencing my outlook, I hang out with nerds and geeks, me being on myself, it's my environment. Taller, yes. Bigger boobs, with age. Train? someone to be fit for high performance sports, hell yes. Wings...why would you even mention that? I do have the body I want. I'm not tall and I don't have big boobs. Would I want to be taller and have bigger boobs, no, they're not necessary for me. Could I become taller, yes, I'm still a growing girl, but I tend to eat foods that don't help so I might end up wider instead of taller XD You're just a pessimist :)

What the hell is this crap?!? First half of the vid I spotted at least two girls that clearly don't even have the vaguest idea of what bellydance is, nightclub stiffness.? Seriously those two like that had a total lack of any hip movements whatsoever, one was moving her upper torso when she was meant to be doing basic hip movements to try for the same look. First thing in the morning have a full breakfast - cereal, toast, fruits, yogurt, egg on toast etc. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you start right it will carry you through the day. I have been bele dancing since the? 80's and have have 5 home births utilizing the movements. So many traditional birthing rituals of 1st world women have be lost to commercialism, reduced to being viewed only as a dance entertainment, and the desires of men. Yep you got it,? we had a tight repertoire and this group was particularly mindful of attention to detail. All improvisational except agreeing to split into two improv groups at a certain cue in the song. IN group improv the skill is in making the dance look like its choreographed when its all meeting the unknown magic of the moment!

I am the Director of this piece. It is not choreographed and its not Egyptian style. This is 100% improvised leading and following. This performance was in 1994? in Santa Cruz at an awards ceremony.
