Yes, that is why? we have prisons. Keeping the purporters locked up for the rest of their time on earth, to protect the public. We don't have capital punishment here in the UK, thankfully. Though there are Muslims who support bringing in Sharia law to this traditionally Christian nation, and I oppose that to no end. You're likely right with your proportions on the West and the Middle East, but that doesn't make Sharia killings any more justifiable.
