yh true. but take for example BF3 on ps3 ok? there was a beta released, which was decent, that beta turned into the full game, which was decent when released. now, next move:? they gnna release a patch because of not joinin with your squad and other shit like not being able to chat with friends if u join together. they fucked that patch up, making the game awefull to play, 2nd patch? they fucked everything up rent a server came along where random noobs kick u when u pwn.

i'm 27 and remember my dad listening to these records, along with morbid angel and many other death and grind bands. I had cousins that were into the real hardcore scene back then too, my roots remain the same. These are the best bands out there, i give credit to the newer bands out there but you can top how these guys were above their time. We wouldn't have a noise or? grind scene to speak of if it wasn't for extreme noise terror, anal cunt or napalm death.

I respect you for the ability to adapt and looking at the bands you mentioned, it seems that you've stayed close to the heart and soul? of meaningful music amidst the change and progression and for that I salute you. I'm 39 and have followed a similar path and would often mix up my playlists with KISS, LYNRD SKYNRD, AC/DC, Slayer, Death, Sodom, Kreator, Napalm Death ,Helloween and Exciter rounding it off with the occasional Beatles and tons of Black Sabbath (all lineups).

The only connection to the outside world after the telephone lines go out is the radio in Ullman's office. I think they put the window in there to convey and reinforce that connection. Lastly (for now), there are two unexplained time shifts in the bar scene where? Jack first speaks to Lloyd. He refers to "five miserable months on the wagon" though Wendy says he hasn't had a drink since he hurt Danny, which was "three goddamn years ago." Obviously you don't need the supernatural to explain an alcoholic lying about drinking, but I do wonder what happened five months earlier. He also says he was afraid his money would be in his wallet "until next April" but his job ends in May.

Hey Rob, It occurred to me the other day that both of the adult Torrances are smokers, but I don't think we ever actually see Jack? smoke. We see a lit cigarette in his ash tray, but I can't recall any scenes of him drawing on a cigarette. We see Wendy smoking a couple of times at least: once during the doctor's interview and once when she's rehearsing talking to Jack about leaving. Tobacco, of course, is a native American product. Jack burns it without utilizing it. Thoughts?

Twins can be taken as gemini, but there's nothing conclusive to that effect, just like if someone said they represent the twin towers. There's a detailed chapter on the twins in my full article. Like I said the word "All meaning" Apollo 11 is nonsense. Lower case l's look vaguely like the number 1 in the type font Jack uses. Set rumour has it that the ball throwing was Jack's idea, but being a director myself, I know that when people come up with ideas on set I only use the ones that thematically fit with what I'm doing, even if the person with the idea doesn't? realize it. Kubrick did same in Clockwork Orange. Apparently Alex's recital of "singin' in the rain" was Macdowell's idea, but only because Kubrick already asked him to sing a song over the scene and asked what songs he knew.

I wouldn't overhaul your swing, but you can always peak and tweak. Even MLB players do it. Don't buy the "if it aint broke don't fix it" BS. yeah there are many different 'styles' of hitting, once the swing starts, they all look pretty much the? same. Keep working, stay hungry and don't be satisfied with your .400 average. I'm went to High School with Manny, "nothing to be proud of, btw" where he hit .550 his senior year, I can tell you it didn't look anything like it does now.

Something that alot of people dont notice is, look at his back foot when he swings. He dosent keep it completely anchored and therefore letting his body weight transfer. This game takes place in a different universe completely so nothing? with children or whatever and no references to bioshock 1 and 2 at all. The tiny big daddy getting crushed in the beginning symbolized the end of that universe. The thing you saw crush it is a handyman which has a heart and a human head. The city also represents exceptionalism so that is why you see so many American flags and propagandas.

I really don't understand why games like COD and BF are so popular, the only good thing about them is their addictive multiplayer. Their singleplayer stories however are boring as? fuck and gameplay is mediocre at best, and gets really old after awhile... Not the "The thing can not imitate inorganic material" thats actually mentioned in the short story "Who Goes? There" so you dont really haft to take in mind the prequel at all. The fact still remains. And to be honest the prequel was no oscarwinnner or as golden as JC�s remake but def better than alot of other shit movies that get�s release now a days it was a solid prequel.

We're never given information privy to just how many planets The Thing has infected, if it has at all. Furthermore, explain to me how my view is biased, because I fail to see how it is. I am not simply dismissing the prequel as being irrelevant to gauging whether or not Childs is The Thing, I am merely stating that since Carter!Thing could obviously incorporate non-organic material? into itself (and that's not an 'opinion', it's a fact), then the next logical step would be to assume that Childs!Thing would be capable of doing it as well. This is very relevant because your theory is wrong.

You seem to believe that? because it cannot imitate inorganic material, that it would not simply reform itself with the filling and earring inside. As I stated before, it came to the conclusion that discarding the inorganic bits got it caught last time, and thusly if it infected Childs this time around it remembered to reform his tooth with the filling intact. The fact that Carter-Thing was able to simply re-insert his earring practically debunks your entire theory.

I still have to wonder when Wilfred Brimley's character was assimilated exactly. He did have? a noose in his shack, possibly indicating that he was trying to fight off the infection and was prepared to end himself if he could stop the alien in the process. We don't know that, for all we know in Carpenter's mind The Thing COULD'VE replicated that or it could've placed them back? in. Especially if becoming a Thing was a cell-by-cell process as Blair predicted, there'd be no trouble slowly changing Childs while keeping the inorganics. Hell, the Thing could've even replicated the inorganics as organics but kept them visually looking like they did. We have no idea what Carpenter's explanation for that was or would be.

You can believe whatever you want, but I will say this, if Childs was the Thing, then why would he wear an earring and have a gold tooth at the end of the film and you and I both know that the infected can't imitate inorganic? material which clearly debunks the infected Child theory. A lot of people make a lot of mistakes of using theorize clues to be the proof when the real facts are proven to be the actual proof.

I still don't think it should count. John Carpenter's film was NOT made with the prequel rules in mind. For all we know, John Carpenter could very-well have intended for Childs to be a Thing, but the? prequel would contradict that. It's Carpenter's word above the Prequels. New Rules shouldn't have any affect on viewing what happens in the original film unless the person who created that film says otherwise.

If the storyline of the prequel is left out of the equation, than what is the purpose making a film that doesn't show a lot? of details on what cause that environment to take place when you have a back-story that helps you explain that particular event. Yes, the movie was not as good as first one but it shows you the connection with two to actually a big WHOLE story and that matters.
