What a rare opportunity to watch two young Sandhill Cranes frolic about in a shallow, man-made pond in the next door Leapold Nature Center. I was out on one of my foraging walks (looking for wild medicine plants) when I decided to walk over to the Nature Center to get a bottle of water. What a wonderful surprise! They even gifted a feather when they were done. WOOT!

LOL, wow I ... By: rexenne. on 26 May 10, 16:43:40 LOL, wow I completely forgot to mention the dye type. I use Jacquard Acid Dyes.
Yes you can, but the colors will not be as bright.
Nope, never had mucky bottoms. Once you wring out your roving, it soaks the dye right up. Setting it with steam is what makes it permanent.
Best thing I could offer would be to do a google search. I'm sure there are plenty of written instructions out there, in fact I know there is but I have long since forgotten where I? saw them.

I refused to belt because my first teacher was so belt happy I didn't think he was paying as much attention to the skills as he should have been. And it just became a habit. I had to quit after? I lost my job a year ago. Still hoping to go back after I get a job again.

A stretch that might help - when you are going up stairs [works best barefoot] put just the front part of your feet? on the next step, and let your heels 'bounce' down a bit, as tho you were on a diving board
Don't forget to hang onto the handrail, cuz you need the balance.
Start small - 3 reps on each trip UPSTAIRS, & only if you're NOT carrying anything.
I've done these for years, about the best-working part of my feet!

I actually timed myself a few months back while? knitting a straight stockinette scarf and found that turning actually slowed me down, quite a bit.
I do find it helpful though when I need to knit a tight fabric. I knit continental and while I can knit tight, I can't purl tightly, so instead I switch the yarn to my right hand and knit backwards.

I had no idea where you were going when you started the background and really enjoyed watching the painting develop. It turned out beautifully! By the way, what a clever idea to? paint on a larger piece and cut it into smaller pieces! I get really frustrated when working on small paintings and it never occurred to me that I could paint larger and cut it down. Doh!

Reply? to commenter who asked why did they do that (Hit the wrong button & removed the comment, SORRY!). It has something to do with the song I chose. That's about all I can figure.
