Remington 770 Problem

My Remington model 770 chambered in .308 has a problem. Every time i fire a round, the bolt locks and it takes alot of force to pull it up so i can cycle my rounds. Am i doing something wrong? Is there a problem with the firearm? please comment and leave any suggestions. Thank You!

How about? you man the fuck up. It's harder to pull back and lift up because you have to re-cock it again you dumb ass. its not a semi-automatic. And you are supposed to oil the bolt and clean it. its a gun. GROW SOME BALLS

My old Mauser does this. because I fired hot ammo through it(Long Story). Anyway, it sounds like "Bolt Setback." Have the? head space checked by a qualified gunsmith before you shoot it again.

I have two Remmington? Model 770's and neither of mine has ever given me any trouble, the action isnt the best in the world but overall I am very pleased with their performances. Honestly I think you just need to clean it good, then actually put some muscle into it!!!!!!!

first time shooting my new Russian SKS Simonov. Caliber: 7.62x39mm. Range: 50 yards. The SKS is pretty damn accurate at 50 yards. Not much recoil..
