Oh, I have had? problems keeping the Imagine calibrated, I ended up having to put it on a more stable surface, cause it moves ALOT and now it is working pretty good!!! Once you get the hang of it, it is REALLY easy to use, but it did take me some practice =) let me know if you have any other questions =)

I LOVE my? Imagine!!! I waited (for once) untill I read alot of reviews and talked to crafty friends who had them. I had a better idea of what to expect. Alot of people were mis lead when the Imagine first came out as to what it could do, so understandably they were upset with it.
I mainly use it for the patterns and colors....the images are cute, but I really love the 3D effect of Cricut layers! I just LOVE that all the colors match...

When you cant weld, you can attach a brad at the top and the card can "swing" open? to the side. Or there are ways to adhere it together. I have a video on a card that is a baby card in the shape of a moon with a little lamb on it....it shows how to attatch the shapes without welding....hope that helps! I got mine on HSN and used their Flex Pay options which helped alot! I mainly wanted it because if there was a patterned paper I liked from a cartridge....I will never run out of it! AND all the colors match up! I have had a couple issues with it, but overall I am SOOO pleased with it and I find myself going to it FIRST before my paper pads....shhhhh! =)

With the Imagine I do two things....If I am using it with "regular" Cricut carts....I design the card in my Gypsy first (making sure to use sizes that can be done on the Imagine) then I just cut the items? out on the Imagine. If I am using Imagine cartridges....i count the squares on the screen and then actually look at my mat to get an idea of the size....I hope that makes sense =) If not...let me know!

I have a toothpick that I wrapped a mini glue dot on, then took away some of the sticky with my fingers. It picks up the gems and keeps them upright, I use my fingernail to press them to the paper and the glue dot stays on the toothpick. I got the idea from someone else on youtube, sorry I can't? remember who it was. Works great on small die cuts, too.

BUT if I am going to use a regular cartridge....I design the card in my Gypsy like normal and then just put those carts in my Imagine to flood fill them. I really wish you could design in the Gypsy =( maybe someday!!!

because I have the Gypsy. It is so difficult FOR ME, to use without the Gypsy. AND sometimes it doesnt always cut right =( Oh, I have had? problems keeping the Imagine calibrated, I ended up having to put it on a more stable surface, cause it moves ALOT and now it is working pretty good!!! Once you get the hang of it, it is REALLY easy to use, but it did take me some practice =) let me know if you have any other questions =)

so I dont have to? dig through colored cardstock packs trying to find that right shade of pink to match!!! The Imagine does it all for me!!! So...I use it with my regular Cricut cartridges and just love it. I find myself going to it BEFORE I go to my paper packs!!! Now....onto the E2! I have it and HATE IT!!! I dont like the screen....I am so used to the Gypsy where you can tap an image and move it wherever you want! Since I use my Gypsy for EVERYTHING....it hasnt been a problem for me...

Hi Surie!!! I LOVE my? Imagine!!! I waited (for once) untill I read alot of reviews and talked to crafty friends who had them. I had a better idea of what to expect. Alot of people were mis lead when the Imagine first came out as to what it could do, so understandably they were upset with it. I mainly use it for the patterns and colors....the images are cute, but I really love the 3D effect of Cricut layers! I just LOVE that all the colors match...
