My little brother's first time shooting the AK. He had fired the 30-06 once, a few minutes prior to this. As a new shooter, he did really well and continued that trend on the pistol side.

Untrained Dogs Cause Trouble

Skip to about 2:00 in to see me walking up. Cops were called, but never showed up. Animal control was not available this day.
I thought the dogs had someone cornered when I saw them from my house. The neighbor (Japanese woman heard here) had been chased inside. My son's bus stop is the corner there where you see the dogs and I together.

Wifebot v1.0 in baby carry mode

Us walking down Bridal Veil Falls in Index, WA. We chose to go towards the falls instead of Lake Serene. It was snowy and cold, but wifebot v1.0 and babybot v2.0 did well. The backpack she has on is the Kelty Kids 2011 model. CLEARANCE PRICES biatch!!!! Anyway, this was a fun hike with lots of washed out areas and lots of snow left over.

Saiga 12 conversion part 1

Again, filmed with my sub-par iPhone. This shows the results of 15 minutes of work with my cordless drill, some cobalt bits, a few punches, a rubber hammer and a large file. This is the needed teardown to add a pistol grip, new US-made trigger assembly and more; all needed for 922r compliance.

My Parker Hale 7mm mag. This rifle has been in my family for over 30 years and has not been shot in over 20. I'm happy to have it since seeing it often as a kid. This is my first look at the workings and attempts to diagnose the "slam fire" tendency. I have NOT loaded live ammo in this and will not until much later.

Happy Chicken

My Black Australorp (one of them) chicken. She is calm and will let you pick her up. She is super cool. She eats store-bought, organic grain and gets 12+ hours out of the coop per day. Her eggs are amazing and organic.
