May 20th ~ Bluetit Nestcam ~ 1 Chick has past :(

Sadly weve lost a chick over the weekend and are left with seven :( In all honesty i feel lucky to have seven given the wet climate and cold. Bertha removed the chick today. The other seven chicks seem ok and have been feeding well. The chicks have been testing their wings and doing pre flight checks :) fingers crossed over the next day or two.

May 16th ~ Wings & Cheeps ~ Bluetit nestcam update

Here's some footage of the chicks today. They're getting darker in colour and have developed feathery wings. They have also found their voices too :) cheeping a plenty! They're doing really well despite cold mornings and rainy weather. Burt and Bertha are proving to be very good parents.

Scary plane landing Skiathos Greece
