Posted by: LiLrick258
Video duration: 450 seconds
The Black Unemployment rate has been high for decades, and to blame Obama is presposterous, let along ignorant, disingenuou s, and not factual. this time around black unemployment is high in part due to big losses in U.S. Government jobs(public sector). I get to some, not "all" facts in this video

Our stimulus goes to other countries? Yes. The U.S. Department of Energy revealed $60 million of the $1.2 billion given to the agency in economic stimulus funds to study climate change. While some might consider the expenditure frivolous, especially given the nation's financial woes, it should be noted that some of the equipment was not even intended for use in the U.S. but rather was deployed? to facilities in the Maldives, India and? Australia.

The folks at Think Progress and the Center for American Progress should probably stick to the advice of "Political Math" blogger Matthias Shapiro. Although Shapiro is admittedly no fan of Perry's, he's done his homework and sees the writing on the wall: "My? advice to anti-Perry advocates is this: Give up talking about Texas jobs. Texas is an incredible outlier among the states when it comes to jobs. Not only are they creating them, they're creating ones with higher wages."

@atlantic654 No,President Obama isn't responsible for high black unemployment. Do your research like I said. and? I never said anything regarding him,and libya.

WOW! I don't? even know where to start responding to that disingenuous, inaccurate, presposterous comment. to be blunt, you undermine "black suffering" with such "revisionism". so therefore i'll give you time to do your research to comeback, and correct yourself.

Here is the truth. The? US like any country has a limited amount of resources. Obama has hammered all kinds of regulations-Just doubled fuel economy requirements. He then has blown so much money with these bailouts, TARP, federal spending - he has sucked the very life out of free enterprise. He has done more damage to the cause of blacks and their desire for upward mobility than any President in history. In summary he has been a wrecking ball for all American's. No we can't!

Let's all? take stock here President Obama isn't responsible for high unemployment of blacks, he isn't responsible for the debt crisis, he isn't responsible for the high price of gas, he isn't responsible for the new war in Libya, he isn't responsible for the open border with mexico and the increasing violence. Maybe it's time we impeach this person who won't take any responsibility!

@msmithstud I think you misinterpreted. While whites were given "affirmative action" type help that goes back to the civil war era "land, money, jobs, money to buy homes, etc, blacks have been given nothin by this country except the "pigford bill" that was for black? farmes who got discriminated against. we all have to start from the ground up,and the black unemployment rate has been high for decades so miss me with your "white-washing"

i did my research and found that most blacks have been disproportionately employed in sectors hardest hit in the recession-manufacturing and construction, 2 fields that have been hit the hardest by the recession. Also, the high school dropout rate for blacks in recent years has been 9.9%. and 4.8% for whites.? Not having a high school diploma doesn't help when looking for a job, the same with having an arrest record. Illegal Immigartion hasn't helped either.

sorry, but the high black unemployment rate can't be blamed on? President Obama. It is due to decades of unequal opportunity, and "institutional racism". Do your research.
By: msmithstud. on 16 Jul 11, 01:48:14
i? love how people blamed Bush for the recession in 2008, but give Obama a pass for everything that has collapsed since he took office.

I don't really disagree with you, but like I said, he's hired to work in that kind? of environment and get the job done. If he can't, then he shouldn't be hopping around with hope and change. We don't vote for somebody so that we can complain that nothing can be changed because of how things are. We vote for somebody so that they can make changes in a tough environment. The world would never progress if people complain that nothing can be done because of the other side!

you're entitled to your opinion on President Obama, but again....President Obama can't force private corporations to hire if they choose not to. like I said "thease corporations have a vested interest of making sure unemployment remains high to increase the chances of? a GOP win in 2012".
By: jdoramaking. on 08 Jul 11, 21:54:34
Dude, you may be right about everything, but that's not the point. The point is that? people hired OBama to get jobs up, and for him to deal with the negative environment in DC. If he can't do it, then don't go hop around with this hope and change crap. If you talk about how you gonna fix something, and you can't...then it's on you.
